Course Requirements

1.	Post RESPONSES to the discussion forum every Friday by class time. Topics will be posted to guide you, but you may also raise other issues in question form to stimulate discussion. (20% of your grade)
2.	2-3 ORAL REPORTS of 5-10 min. With class participation & attendance, this counts for 25% of your grade
3.	3 PAPERS (5-7 double-spaced pages each) Counts for 30% of your grade.
4.	FINAL EXAM: Identification quiz consisting of some 50 passages from all works we read, and a brief commentary explaining the relevance of the passage. Counts for 25%.
